Product: King Oversized Comforter from Your Bed

One of the best decisions we ever made was upgrading my queen sized bed to a king when we got married. That being said, it has been very difficult to find a comforter that covers everything. I feel like “my slip is showing” because we can’t find anything to cover the bed to at least the rails. After an extensive…and I do mean extensive search, I discovered this particular brand via Amazon but decided to purchase directly from the website due to Amazon not having the exact item we wanted.

Initial Thoughts: Hopeful is the best way to describe how I felt. I thought that we found a unicorn and I couldn’t wait to get it. The color was perfect for the decor in our room and the style we chose appeared that it wouldn’t be too hot.. The other thing I really liked was that the price was very affordable.

How’s it Going: After we got it in, I immediately washed it. The first thing that I noticed was that it was really soft. Here’s where things didn’t work out like planned….it’s still too short! I can be honest and admit that we will be replacing this, but with a larger size the brand offers that currently is on presale and won’t be available until 2/2022. This is by far one of the best feeling pieces of bedding that we have had. I enjoy laying on top of the comforter with a blanket (I’ve done this before on other bedding, but the feel of this is so much better). 

Is is Worth it: YES! I feel that part of the reason our comforter is too short is because we have a box spring under our mattress. We are looking for a maxi dress instead of a body con so we have our fingers crossed and expect that the larger size we will be getting will work perfectly. The website mentions that if you have a regular king sized bed it will be like a rug, but based on what we have now I doubt that will be the case. As always, do your research…but I think I’ve found the solution for us and I just have to be patient until we can actually get it. I promise to keep everyone updated next year.
