Worth it Wednesday

Review

Before I get into the review, I just wanted you to know how disappointed I am that this isn’t the video I was hoping to put out. It’s past time for me to be putting out video content and when I finally “get my mind right” now my body is still trying to get back on the good foot. I posted on this a little while ago, but my Vitamin D deficiency is still a problem right now. I didn’t notice until last night that I wasn’t taking the right doseage so all the work that I thought I had been putting in to build my system up has really been at 1/3 of the pace I thought I was going. My prayer is that within 2 weeks I’m in a better place, but all I can do is wait and see. This won’t hinder me from doing video for sure, but right now the level of pure fatigue I feel is just overwhelming. Truthfully during these moments I know the physical side of me won’t fail, it’s the mental side that takes the biggest hit so any encouraging words you have for me I will gladly take them. Anyway….let’s get into the review.

Product: Lume (yes, the one you see ads for on various social media sites and no I’m still not sponsored)

Initial Thoughts: As with almost anything I see a bunch of ads for, I feel that it’s over hyped. Let me just share one of my truths with you: I have issues with body odor (This is from night sweats). I am very hygienic, but because of the level of sweat that I produce alongside hormonal imbalances it’s easy for me to wake up a little sour. It’s been an issue since moving to Texas in 2017 and I transitioned from regular deodorants to clinical strength. Recently, even with more fire power I would still need to put on more in the morning to avoid smelling like 45 day old onions by noon. I figured if Lume could help then it was a win.

How’s it going: I’m pleasantly surprised. I know that it speaks on 72 hours that it can keep you fresh, but I’ll never find that out because that’s just way too long to not be meeting with some soap and water. For the first time in a very long time I don’t feel the need to put on anything in the morning so I can avoid a stench. It’s been about 2 good weeks and usually I like to give myself a little more time before doing reviews on these type of products, but it’s worth sharing because I know that I’m not the only person that needs something a little stronger.

Is it Worth it: Yes, Yes, Yes. I will probably try one unscented item the next time I order (not a fan of the 2 scents I currently have), but I’ll also give another scent a try. The scent wears off very quickly so it’s not terrible. I also didn’t purchase it for how good it smelled. The most important thing for me is effectiveness especially with the type of heat we have here in Texas and the level of sweat my body has produced. With that being said…get it!

Have you ever tried Lume? What thoughts do you have about the product?
